To my pleasure and surprise, when I checked in to the Sunset Tower Hotel, I was informed I was being upgraded to a suite with a balcony and city view. But best of all, when I got in from dinner, the view from my room was this spectacular moonrise over L.A.!

The moon is unusually beautiful tonight. I was heading over to Mochilla for B+/Eric Coleman photography show and just could take my eyes off the moon.

I'm doing a similar thing. I travel (or did) a lot as a corporate pilot. Each night I take a picture out my hotel room window of whatever is out there. I'm calling the series "Out my Hotel Window." Neat pictures for me to remember my travels.
I hope that your dinner was downstairs at the Sunset Tower Bar and Restaurant... quite possibly one of the better places to eat at in Los Angeles. Their Peach Bellinis are amazing as are their lobster tacos. Not to mention the impeccable service.
