Showing how much it's possible to do with an iPhone, British band
The Mentalists play "Kids" by MGMT on their iPhones and iPod Touches, using only apps downloaded from the Apple Store. (Apps used include Ocarina, Retro Synth, miniSynth, and DigiDrummer Lite.)

Awesome, I tweeted your link. :)
Thanks - three out of the four apps I didn't know existed, only knew of Ocarina.
How sweet!
Wow, how cool is that !
Am I the only one to notice that all the girls are wearing amazing bracelets ? :)
WOW!!! That is waaaaaaaaaay cool!! I don't own any of those electronicy gadgety thingys, none of them so far, but I love that they can do these things!!!! (G'head, call me a ludite!)
Oh, to be young, good looking ... and incredibly musical!
i can't help but be cynical about this... way too much apple plugging not to be sponsored by them... making this less cute, no? their singing is however most definately lovely
Britain's got talent indeed - artistry
OMG.
I love the 21st century.
*Sigh*
If I had the money I could have even more creative tools for art.
this is funny. How far we've come. Wonder if all music will one day just be played on electronic devices.
The audio is almost too good in terms of volume and clarity, considering the phones are mixed between handheld and tabletop. But awesome use of simple apps. MGMT = pwnd!
Both cool and really awkward. No way to look like a rocker as you tap away on an iPhone, is there?
That's rad!!!!
I love this post. Oh the possibilities with modern technology! I also just wanted to let you know that I love and value your blog. It seems to keep me in touch with what is going on there in Chelsea. So thanks!
Kate.
