The art of the raconteur is not much in evidence these days, but every once in a while you stumble across a great story teller. I was watching David Letterman last month when his guest was Zach Braff and I thought he was so charming and funny and self-deprecatory that without knowing much about him or having seen his movie or t.v. show, I became a fan based solely on this.

I must admit that I am a fan and don't need to watch this to know that I already like Zach Braff ...be that as it may, I couldn't hit pause and watched the entire 10 minutes and 16 seconds of it.
I enjoy Scrubs but this clip is so adorable! Doesn't Zach seem so genuine?
well put. i agree with holly, he is quite genuine. i couldn't help but notice a slight resemblance to the late John Ritter. not so much physically but characteristically.
Zach is awesome! Make sure you see his movie "Garden State"...he directed and starred in it, with Natalie Portman.
I've never watched Scrubs, but I love Zach Braff just from his films and interviews I've seen him do. I like the way you describe him as raconteur.
I love Zach Braff too and could just devour him whole in Garden State. BUT- to fly all the way to vegas and back just for the sake of his own hedonistic pleasure, does nobody else question this?? I mean in this day and age, to burn fossil fuels for the fun of it is extremely irresponsible, no matter how cute your ass looks in jeans.
