I'm off to Costa Rica for a vacation with my family, so I won't be posting for a week or so. In addition to the rain forest and a country that's totally new to me, I'm looking forward to catching up with some DVD's I've had out from Netflix since Christmas and the book "Pictures at a Revolution. Five Movies and the Birth of the New Hollywood" by Mark Harris, which has had some pretty fabulous reviews.
Talk to you soon...

That's one of the travel experiences on my wishlist. Enjoy!
I love this photo -- it makes flying seem so beautiful and relaxing.

Sadly the Eggleston photograph is from a truly bygone era. On the way out I was in a middle seat next to a guy so wide that he literally spread over me. After a few minutes I couldn't take it and I discretely asked the stewardess if there was anything she could do to move me. (The flight was completely sold out.) To my amazement after a few minutes of intense discussion among the flight crew I was ushered into 1st Class and a Delta employee who was hitching a free ride was put in my seat. Unprecedented! But it shows you've got to stick up for yourself.
