This stemming from the same logic that you are not allowed to touch pieces of art because the oils from your hands can also deteriorate them.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5777454663138389757.post-86995683867106598612008-06-22T22:48:00.000-04:002008-06-22T22:48:00.000-04:00I've been told a few times (usually by uniformed s...I've been told a few times (usually by uniformed security guards) that "Pictures aren't allowed here." My response is usually something along the lines of "Photography is not a crime," or, if they persist, "Call the police if you think I'm breaking the law." Thus far, there have been no physical confrontations, and I've been able to take most every picture I've wanted to take, but it is something I worry about in certain venues, and especially in these paranoid post-9/11 times.Generikhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08956298489608222478noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5777454663138389757.post-29626907413240888842008-06-22T16:27:00.000-04:002008-06-22T16:27:00.000-04:00I had a similar problem in Sacre Coeur in Paris; a...I had a similar problem in Sacre Coeur in Paris; armed guards (practically) came after me when I tried to photograph the ceiling. So I sauntered into the nave, hid behind one of the huge pillars close to the altar and snapped a coupla very nice shots. There's ALWAYS a way, esp. with a little camera!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5777454663138389757.post-79578197064595651082008-06-21T22:47:00.000-04:002008-06-21T22:47:00.000-04:00The lips are so juicy! The lips are so juicy!dezinebyjenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14709973098656651185noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5777454663138389757.post-8819025240578481142008-06-21T02:23:00.000-04:002008-06-21T02:23:00.000-04:00fabulous photos...I love your writing too.fabulous photos...I love your writing too.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15540367324651819913noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5777454663138389757.post-79427914644787385402008-06-18T16:08:00.000-04:002008-06-18T16:08:00.000-04:00Was photography allowed at the recent Richard Prin...Was photography allowed at the recent Richard Prince show?

irony abounds.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18306975664220931304noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5777454663138389757.post-34638855715097574712008-06-18T12:38:00.000-04:002008-06-18T12:38:00.000-04:00I've been stopped a few times.
